José Leite's late challenge caught a SC Vilaca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Beco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Valente to maneuver through the defense. Júlio Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If Bruno Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19thth minute of the game Daniel Borba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beco FC's Amílcar Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amílcar Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Borba's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Delfim Costa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amílcar Barbosa, 1-0. Daniel Borba was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. SC Vilaca's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. SC Vilaca's Manuel Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Magalhães in the 28th minute of play. Amílcar Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Costa in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Borba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Beco FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Hélder Mota hit a great ball. Delfim Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rodrigo Magalhães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Castro in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Brito saved SC Vilaca from getting behind. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Vilaca's goalkeeper Manuel Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delfim Costa was the one to do the kick off. If Delfim Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, SC Vilaca's Manuel Brito got control of the ball when Bruno Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Júlio Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Vilaca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beco FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Vilaca's Júlio Moura got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute of the match, Rodrigo Magalhães tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manuel Brito saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bruno Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Brito having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Beco FC's Manuel Brito threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodrigo Magalhães, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 92 minutes into the match, SC Vilaca's goalkeeper Manuel Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Castro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Magalhães in the 93rd minute of play forced SC Vilaca's goalkeeper Manuel Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Vilaca's zone, Bruno Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Brito came out of the goal and Bruno Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, SC Vilaca's goalkeeper Manuel Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Castro. If Bruno Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Vilaca fans cheered their team off the field, for while Beco FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
