Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bernardo Santos made the kick off and thus started the match. Adelino Amaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Ferro in the 3rd minute. Joaquim Coimbra's late challenge caught a Benavente FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Coimbra helped the player get up and apologised. Joaquim Coimbra hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, SC Cristelo's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Ribeiro came free, but Adelino Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benavente FC's Paulo Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Santos in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Ferro got free with Adelino Amaro in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Cunha in the 17th minute of play. Adelino Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Ribeiro in the 19th minute of play. If Fernando Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Reis having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, SC Cristelo's Bernardo Santos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Reis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Ricardo Delgado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adelino Amaro. The goal made the score 1-1. Paulo Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Gueifão in the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Bernardo Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cristelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 54th match minute, SC Cristelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Henriques to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Reis having to interfere. Fernando Cunha's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paulo Reis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Paulo Reis was a little too slow when Fernando Cunha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-2. After a rather tough play, Benavente FC's Ricardo Delgado got a free kick in the 73rd minute. SC Cristelo's André Gonçalves shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Paulo Reis but with some difficulty. José Figueiredo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes, SC Cristelo's António Leiria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paulo Reis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Cristelo reached it. Adelino Amaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuno Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Joaquim Coimbra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Paulo Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Cristelo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
