Júlio Tavares's late challenge caught a SC Trexoi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Resende kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 29thth minute. Though ot was a great shot SC Trexoi's keeper Rafael Dias was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cabreiro FC's goalkeeper Henrique Jesus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After taking down the ball on SC Trexoi's corner José Domingues fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Henrique Jesus quite easily take care of the ball. If Cristiano Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rafael Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandre Jesus made a kick off. If Cristiano Moutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
