After some careless play in the Cabreiro FC defense, Gabriel Cruz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrique Jesus. The Cabreiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrique Jesus should have stopped the shot. Cabreiro FC's André Resende got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cabreiro FC's André Resende got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Campia FC's José Gonçalves got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Rocha was the one to do the kick off. Gabriel Cruz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 53rd playminute. In the 57th minute of the match Júlio Tavares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristiano Cardoso skillfully saved the ball. Henrique Jesus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Cruz went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Gabriel Cruz struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Henrique Jesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campia FC. If Bernardo Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Gabriel Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrique Jesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Resende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Cabreiro FC's André Resende sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano Cardoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Campia FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
