After having played for 16 minutes, Cláudio Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baralde FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Garcia in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Heitor Leão reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nuno Queirós. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 23rd minute Heitor Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Bernardo Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Pinto hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute of the match, Heitor Leão tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nuno Queirós saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nuno Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Brás in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nexebra's zone, Diamantino Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Fonseca came out of the goal and Diamantino Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Heitor Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Nuno Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heitor Leão in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Baralde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Brás came free, but Nuno Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Cláudio Mota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cláudio Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Afonso Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Nexebra's Afonso Fonseca got control of the ball when Diamantino Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baralde FC's Cláudio Mota got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Jorge Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baralde FC's Diamantino Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cláudio Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Nexebra got a freekick which was hit by António Pires. In the 81st minute of the match, Cláudio Mota tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Afonso Fonseca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Baralde FC's Nuno Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Brás in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute Heitor Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nexebra's zone, Diamantino Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Fonseca came out of the goal and Diamantino Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afonso Fonseca made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Diamantino Garcia sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute Cláudio Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Baralde FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nexebra.
