Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Almeirinhos's Oliveira Luz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. José Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliveira Luz in the 3rd minute of play. In the 13th minute, Gustavo Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Pacheco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lourenço Campos's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The supporters of SC Praca booed when SC Almeirinhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heitor Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Júlio Pacheco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lourenço Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Júlio Pacheco was a little too slow when António Rodrigues got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Júlio Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Campos in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, SC Almeirinhos's goalkeeper Júlio Pacheco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by António Rodrigues. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Lourenço Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Praca's supporters rose to their feet, but Lourenço Campos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Pacheco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliveira Luz spun around in front of the goal 35 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of SC Praca's goal. Oliveira Luz took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Antunes. José Antunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Humberto Lisboa kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. António Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lourenço Campos to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, SC Praca's goalkeeper José Antunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Viana. In the 57th minute, Oliveira Luz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Antunes. The goal made the score 2-3. In the 60th match minute, SC Almeirinhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Brito to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes SC Almeirinhos got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Almeida. Jorge Viana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, José Antunes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 67th match minute, SC Praca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Paiva to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SC Praca's zone, Jorge Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Antunes came out of the goal and Jorge Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliveira Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jorge Viana came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the SC Almeirinhos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Viana couldn't finish the play. In the 77th of the match, Oliveira Luz tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but José Antunes got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 78th minute of the match, Oliveira Luz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but José Antunes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jorge Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Antunes having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Oliveira Luz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jorge Viana took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Antunes. José Antunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4.
