Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vicente Andrade kicked off to start the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Gondivai FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alvaroes:s goal. In the 4th minute there was a penalty for Alvaroes. Miguel Lopes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Armindo Rodrigues. 0-1. After having played for 9 minutes, Inácio Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gondivai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gondivai FC's Vicente Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 13 played minutes Alvaroes got a freekick which was hit by Rui Carvalho. Francisco Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Gondivai FC's Inácio Freitas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armindo Paredes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, André Setúbal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Armindo Rodrigues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute André Setúbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gondivai FC's Francisco Correia got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 38th minute, Rui Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 minutes, Fernando Reis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alvaroes and the Gondivai FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Setúbal made a kick off. Armindo Rodrigues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Andrade's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Carlos Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvaroes's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 played minutes Gondivai FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Correia. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Alvaroes's André Setúbal in the 62nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Armindo Rodrigues was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Gondivai FC through an amazing save. When André Setúbal got free in front of the goal in the 65th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Armindo Rodrigues was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Francisco Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Setúbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Armindo Rodrigues managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Alvaroes's Carlos Andrade fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rui Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Carlos Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Rodrigues having to interfere. Vicente Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Magalhães hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Armindo Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Andrade in the 95th minute of the match. Domingos Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Alvaroes players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
