Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Moredo FC's José Pinto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes, Abel Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Franzina FC and the Moredo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Franzina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Barros to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. João Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Pinto came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Franzina FC's Cristiano Lisboa. But to his dismay, Cristiano Lisboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, one of Franzina FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 27 minutes into the match, Paulo Esteves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Afonso Pinto, 2-1. José Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Reis in the 35th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Jaime Reis made a precise shot to the right of João Antunes. Franzina FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Alves during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. José Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. João Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Esteves made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Tiago Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Esteves in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Pinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afonso Pinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Esteves went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After 66 played minutes, Franzina FC's Júlio Baptista shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Afonso Pinto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Franzina FC reached it. José Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. João Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Paulo Esteves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonso Pinto was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Carlos Santos's late challenge caught a Franzina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. 83 minutes into the match, Paulo Esteves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonso Pinto. Moredo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Esteves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Jaime Reiss short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got João Antunes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If José Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Moredo FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Moredo FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Franzina FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
