Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Loureira FC's Albertino Neto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Loureira FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Domingues. If Paulo Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Loureira FC's Alexandre Veiga got a free kick in the 9th minute. The supporters of Loureira FC booed when Franzina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristiano Lisboa struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Eusébio Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Franzina FC. When Franzina FC's Paulo Esteves in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Loureira FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 23 minutes, Paulo Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Franzina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diogo Domingues's late challenge caught a Franzina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diogo Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. Eusébio Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Lisboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Franzina FC defense, Simão Martins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Antunes. The Franzina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Antunes should have stopped the shot. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Simão Martins got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Albertino Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. João Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Paulo Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simão Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Antunes having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Esteves made a kick off. Eusébio Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Lisboa in the 54th minute. In the 71st match minute, Franzina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Matias to maneuver through the defense. Albertino Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Simão Martins notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Franzina FC's João Antunes. João Antunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Lisboa got free with Eusébio Brito in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Martins in the 88th minute of play. Cristiano Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Brito having to interfere.
