The wind increased when Cristóvão Simões made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Jorge Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candedo FC and the Sanguinhedo players grew even worse after the yellow card. 58 minutes into the match, Sanguinhedo's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Simões came free, but Lourenço Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
