Artur Ferro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Lima in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Gonçalves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Fernando Lima came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the SC Aldeia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Lima couldn't finish the play. Xavier Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Afonso Luz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Valpedre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to SC Valpedre getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Delfim Azevedo hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, SC Valpedre's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Veiga came free, but José Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Joaquim Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Valpedre's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xavier Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half SC Valpedre were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Emanuel Veiga made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Joaquim Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Valpedre's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xavier Cabral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afonso Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Xavier Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, SC Valpedre's Joaquim Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xavier Cabral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Emanuel Veiga put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of José Gonçalves. With a little luck, SC Aldeia's Xavier Cabral got control of the ball when Afonso Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joaquim Baptista succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. After a rather tough play, SC Aldeia's Carlos Matias got a free kick in the 81st minute. José Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Veiga in the 88th minute of the match. Joaquim Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Cabral having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Valpedre walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
