Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vasco Coimbra started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Carlos Cardoso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Francisco Pedroso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vasco Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Ferro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sande FC's Hugo Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Coimbra in the 17th minute of play. José Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Catarino Amaro's late challenge caught a Sande FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Catarino Amaro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Catarino Amaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Catarino Amaro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. Catarino Amaro hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to Columbeira getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Vasco Coimbra hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, José Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sande FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 28 minutes, Vasco Coimbra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Columbeira and the Sande FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32ndth minute of the game José Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Columbeira's Francisco Pedroso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vasco Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sande FC's zone, Humberto Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Reis came out of the goal and Humberto Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Barbosa hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Nuno Ferro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The supporters of Sande FC booed when Columbeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Dantas in the 55th minute of play forced Columbeira's goalkeeper Francisco Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sande FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! The audience was convinced that José Dantas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Pedroso was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. José Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Pedroso having to interfere. Jorge Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Pedroso having to interfere. Jorge Leão might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Pedroso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Leão ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the match, Columbeira's goal looked a bit too open when José Dantas came free, but Francisco Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Reis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Ferro in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes Sande FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Barbosa. In the 93rd minute, Nuno Ferro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
