Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Torres started the match with the kick off. Duarte Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Joaquim Amaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernandaires FC's Diamantino Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Fernandaires FC from getting a goal against them. Pedro Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hélder Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Duarte Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Casconha's David Leiria got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Pedro Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 21st minute, Hélder Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casconha's Cristiano Sousa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 27th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Diamantino Amorim but with some difficulty. Fernandaires FC's Diamantino Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Amaro in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Casconha defense, Miguel Torres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duarte Abreu. The Casconha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duarte Abreu should have stopped the shot. After 41 minutes of play, Fernandaires FC's Miguel Torres made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duarte Abreu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquim Amaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Joaquim Amaro made the kick off in the second half. Gonçalo Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Amorim having to interfere. Joaquim Amaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diamantino Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Amaro ran back to his position shaking his head. Miguel Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Duarte Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Gonçalo Valente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casconha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Valente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Pedro Borges made a precise shot to the right of Duarte Abreu. Casconha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. During the 70th minute of the match Hélder Soares completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hélder Soares a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Fernandaires FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Hélder Soares hit a great ball. Joaquim Amaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diamantino Amorim having to make a save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fernandaires FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
