Ladrugais's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lavegadas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when David Luz scored to the left of an out of position Joaquim Tavares, making the score, 1-3. When Hélder Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Lavegadas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hélder Oliveira couldn't finish the play. Pedro Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Marques having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ladrugais eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
