Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Pousados's Hugo Coelho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes SC Almonda got a freekick which was hit by Bento Rodrigues. Miguel Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from António Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Humberto Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pousados's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xavier Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. António Almeida struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Miguel Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Almonda. SC Almonda's Xavier Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Coelho in the 18th minute of play. António Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Miguel Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Cabral struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Xavier Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pousados. António Almeidas short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Miguel Santos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 45th minute, Humberto Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by António Almeida in the 54th minute of play forced Pousados's goalkeeper Miguel Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When SC Almonda's António Almeida in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 80th minute, SC Almonda's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hugo Coelho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Miguel Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pousados's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
