The attack was good, but when Fernando Morais in the 4th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Manuel Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Hugo Coelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Resende was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Hugo Coelho made a precise shot to the right of José Resende. Fadagosa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Hugo Coelho took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Resende. The crowd rose to their feet as Fadagosa FC's David Martins slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miguel Santos. That made the score 1-2 after 22 minutes of play. José Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Coelho in the 27th minute of the match. José Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Coelho in the 28th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

55 minutes into the match, David Martins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Santos. Pousados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Martins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Fernando Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Miguel Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Martins struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Miguel Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fadagosa FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Fernando Morais managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fadagosa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Morais was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Martins in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 73rdth minute of the game David Martins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pousados's Miguel Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Cabral couldn't finish the play. Manuel Cabral might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Resende. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Cabral ran back to his position shaking his head. José Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Coelho in the 83rd minute of play. Miguel Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Morais's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Costa during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fadagosa FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. António Costa hit a great ball. The Pousados players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Fadagosa FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
