Rapoila FC's Jorge Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. António Aleixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Lisboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Simões in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristiano Almeida saved Barquinha FC from getting behind. A collision led to Barquinha FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Humberto Nascimento hit a great ball. After 23 minutes of play, Rapoila FC's Jorge Amorim made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristiano Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Gustavo Lisboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barquinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Lisboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Aleixo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Barquinha FC's António Porto got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Jorge Amorim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rapoila FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jorge Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cristiano Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Simões in the 37th minute of the match. Humberto Nascimento was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Marco Borges put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barquinha FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty!

The wind increased when Basílio Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. Barquinha FC's Cristiano Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Simões in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Barquinha FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Simões. If Jorge Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Almeida was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Abel Simões capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abel Simões really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Jorge Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Basílio Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over António Aleixo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basílio Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 73 played minutes Barquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by António Porto. With a little luck, Barquinha FC's Cristiano Almeida got control of the ball when Jorge Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristiano Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Basílio Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barquinha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The Rapoila FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
