Américo Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Miranda in the 8th minute of the match. Alexandre Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Américo Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Coimbra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Esteves having to interfere. Gustavo Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Traveira's Alexandre Miranda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Américo Esteves. That made the score 1-1 after 26 minutes of play. Fernando Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, David Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frende FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Traveira the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Coimbra got free with Américo Esteves in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

In the 52nd match minute, Frende FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Frende FC's Américo Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Miranda in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Traveira's zone, Tiago Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Teixeira came out of the goal and Tiago Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiago Borges struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Gustavo Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frende FC. 63 minutes into the match, SC Traveira's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Fonseca came free, but Gustavo Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frende FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristiano Cruz in the 65th minute. Luís Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Frende FC booed when SC Traveira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bento Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Américo Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Miranda in the 82nd minute of the match. Tiago Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Teixeira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Coimbra in the 87th minute of play forced Frende FC's goalkeeper Américo Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bento Branco charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bento Branco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bento Branco hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Gaspar Gomes didn't quite understand what happened when in the 91 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. André Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The SC Traveira supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Frende FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Frende FC.
