In the 20th minute, Domingos Valente reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Viegas. The goal made the score 1-0. With a little luck, Alapraia FC's Marco Viegas got control of the ball when Jorge Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Alapraia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Valente came free, but Marco Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes, Jorge Setúbal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meinedo FC and the Alapraia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Meinedo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Setúbal to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Meinedo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Castro came free, but Rui Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingos Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Marco Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Vítor Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Monteiro was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute Domingos Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Viegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Viegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Domingos Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Valente in the 89th minute of play forced Alapraia FC's goalkeeper Marco Viegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingos Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marco Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Jorge Machado put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marco Viegas. Meinedo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Alapraia FC for a fine match.
