Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Afonso Leão kicked off to start the match. Heitor Ramos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. Varelas FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ricardo Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Sérgio Moutinho made a huge save. After some careless play in the Varelas FC defense, Afonso Leão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Pedroso. The Varelas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Pedroso should have stopped the shot. Filipe Porto's late challenge caught a Varelas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipe Porto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Ronqueira's Filipe Porto got a free kick in the 13th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amílcar Coimbra during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Varelas FC booed when SC Ronqueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Coimbra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match, Heitor Ramos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sérgio Moutinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SC Ronqueira's Tomás Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 20 minutes, Tomás Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ronqueira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Tomás Almeida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Pedroso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Tomás Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Pedroso having to interfere. Ricardo Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Varelas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Ronqueira were winning 0-2.

Sérgio Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Lopes in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute Ricardo Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Moutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. SC Ronqueira's Sérgio Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Ramos in the 65th minute of play. SC Ronqueira's Afonso Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Varelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 77 minutes, Heitor Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varelas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heitor Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ricardo Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Ricardo Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Moutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Pedroso was a little too slow when Afonso Leão got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Ronqueira walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
