Videmonte's Luís Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Ribeiro in the 19th minute of play. Cristiano Viegas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Cabral having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Valdreu FC's goal looked a bit too open when António Lima came free, but Daniel Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Mariano Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Videmonte's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Pinho came free, but Luís Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Lopes during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee showed Artur Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Artur Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. One of Videmonte:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Valdreu FC:s goal. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Valdreu FC. João Rodrigues stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luís Ribeiro. 1-2. The Valdreu FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Valdreu FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
