António Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Figueiredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Rocha to strike the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the match, SC Logoela's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Vaz came free, but Gabriel Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Logoela's Gabriel Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Morais in the 80th minute of play. Adelino Esteves's late challenge caught a SC Mamarrosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adelino Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. Adelino Esteves hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. António Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of João Figueiredo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Logoela walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
