Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Catarino Domingues started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Óscar Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Henrique Neto made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Esteves got free with Henrique Neto in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Azueira's Rogério Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Sousa in the 7th minute of play. Rogério Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Sousa in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Catarino Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vinheiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Catarino Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogério Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Joaquim Gueifão fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vinheiros FC's protests and gave Joaquim Gueifão a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vinheiros FC's Joaquim Gueifão got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vinheiros FC's zone, Delfim Santarém stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Neto came out of the goal and Delfim Santarém tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Artur Coimbra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Catarino Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Azueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Azueira's goal looked a bit too open when Catarino Domingues came free, but Rogério Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catarino Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rogério Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Azueira's Bruno Costa got a free kick in the 34th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Vinheiros FC's Manuel Porto tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The long shot by Ricardo Amaro in the 40th minute really tested Henrique Neto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Delfim Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delfim Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Neto having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artur Coimbra made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Óscar Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albertino Sousa struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Rogério Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vinheiros FC. Henrique Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Coimbra in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Vinheiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Coimbra came free, but Henrique Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Coimbra struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Henrique Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azueira. In the 77th match minute, Vinheiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Garcia to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes, Azueira's Cláudio Guerreiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henrique Neto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Azueira reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Vinheiros FC's Joaquim Gueifão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rogério Lopes. That made the score 0-2 after 80 minutes of play. When Artur Coimbra came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Azueira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Coimbra couldn't finish the play. Emílio Pinto's late challenge caught a Azueira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emílio Pinto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vinheiros FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Emílio Pinto hit a great ball. Azueira's Artur Coimbra managed to work through Vinheiros FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Artur Coimbra dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 96 minutes into the game, Delfim Santarém cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Henrique Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
