Carlos Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrique Miranda hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. If Cristiano Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardo Henriques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Veiga in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Rodrigo Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Alfoloes FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Henriques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Veiga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Mota in the 21st minute of play forced Alfoloes FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Melo in the 25th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Cristiano Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Miranda during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute of the match Heitor Pereira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Henriques skillfully saved the ball. Rodrigo Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Carlos Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute of the match, Rodrigo Melo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abel Alves saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carlos Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Abel Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Rodrigo Melo rounded SC Golega's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Carlos Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Melo in the 89th minute of the match. Alfoloes FC's Rodrigo Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The SC Golega fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Alfoloes FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
