After recieving a nice pass, Vessadas FC's Óscar Porto tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Cláudio Pinto hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Óscar Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Assunção in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Nuno Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Óscar Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vessadas FC's Júlio Coelho got a free kick in the 32nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastião Tavares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
