Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Santarém started the match with the kick off. António Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lourenço Leal having to interfere. If António Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avoes FC's Afonso Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Nunes in the 14th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Carvalho during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernando Carvalho hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Tomás Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montouto's Manuel Santarém got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avoes FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Basílio Viegas in the 35th minute. After 38 minutes of play, Montouto's Tomás Nunes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when António Jesus got free with Lourenço Leal in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Barbosa having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Avoes FC's zone, Tomás Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Barbosa came out of the goal and Tomás Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Porto to make the kick off. When Avoes FC's David Porto in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montouto's goalie prevented a goal. When Avoes FC's António Jesus in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montouto's goalie prevented a goal. Afonso Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Nunes in the 57th minute. When Avoes FC's António Jesus in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montouto's goalie prevented a goal. Jorge Fonseca hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. David Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vicente Viana charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Viana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, Montouto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Viana to maneuver through the defense. Montouto's Lourenço Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Porto in the 88th minute of play. António Jesus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lourenço Leal having to make a save. In the 93rd match minute, Avoes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Viana to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Afonso Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Montouto's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
