The supporters of Fafe FC booed when Seiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Trindade in the 37th minute of play forced Seiros FC's goalkeeper Fábio Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seiros FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lúcio Torres was slow to take the kick. During this time Fafe FC's players had a chance to rest. Fafe FC's Lúcio Torres was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fábio Campos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 40th match minute, Fafe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Leiria to maneuver through the defense. The Fafe FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Seiros FC were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amílcar Pereira to strike the kick off in the second half. When Amílcar Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seiros FC's protests and gave Amílcar Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Seiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Amílcar Pereira. 76 minutes into the match, Seiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Trindade came free, but Fábio Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil Mendes's late challenge caught a Seiros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gil Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fafe FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gil Mendes hit a great ball.
