Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Faria kicked off to start the match. If Raul Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Guarda having to interfere. Joel Guarda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Figueiredo in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, João Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, one of Sarabagos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sarabagos FC. When Caxarias FC's Afonso Almeida in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sarabagos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Emílio Jesus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Caxarias FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Faria came free, but Marco Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caxarias FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emanuel Faria 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. If Emanuel Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Guarda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Figueiredo went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Marco Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emílio Jesus in the 40th minute. With a little luck, Caxarias FC's Marco Amaral got control of the ball when Emílio Jesus tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nuno Figueiredo made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Caxarias FC's Nuno Figueiredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Guarda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Afonso Almeida struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Joel Guarda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caxarias FC. 58 minutes into the game, Joaquim Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarabagos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caxarias FC the free kick. In the 58th match minute, Sarabagos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Marques to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Almeida got free with Joel Guarda in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Faro's late challenge caught a Sarabagos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Faro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Caxarias FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jorge Faro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Aguiar in the 63rd minute of play forced Caxarias FC's goalkeeper Marco Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Emílio Jesus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Marco Amaral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Sarabagos FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. João Teixeira hit a great ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Afonso Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caxarias FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nuno Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emílio Jesus came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Sarabagos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emílio Jesus couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Sarabagos FC's goalkeeper Joel Guarda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Almeida. Caxarias FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
