Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bernardo Morais made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, SC Serrinha's Vasco Anjos got a free kick in the 4th minute. Daniel Leal, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bernardo Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Moreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diamantino Nogueira in the 9th minute. If Diamantino Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Manuel Leal came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the SC Serrinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Leal couldn't finish the play. Diamantino Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cristóvão Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, SC Portomar's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Leal came free, but Hugo Ferro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Diogo Faro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Ferro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hugo Ferro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Leal went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. SC Portomar's Hugo Ferro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Faro in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Serrinha's goalkeeper Cristóvão Moreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute Diogo Faro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Ferro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diogo Faro in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Ferro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Manuel Leal came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the SC Serrinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Leal couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rui Guarda during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rui Guarda kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diogo Faro to make the kick off. Diamantino Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Moreira having to interfere. Cristóvão Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Bernardo Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Nogueira in the 69th minute of play. After 71 played minutes SC Serrinha got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Marques. Cristóvão Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Morais's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. When Bernardo Morais came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the SC Portomar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Morais couldn't finish the play. After 81 minutes, Gustavo Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Portomar and the SC Serrinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Portomar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Pedro Marques shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Hugo Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo Faro in the 88th minute of play. Bernardo Morais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diamantino Nogueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristóvão Moreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diamantino Nogueira ran back to his position shaking his head.
