Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Diogo Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, SC Malhou's Hélder Moniz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. José Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Setúbal having to interfere. Carlos Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 12 minutes, Gustavo Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lameirao and the SC Malhou players grew even worse after the yellow card. Duarte Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Valente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After 17 minutes, Ricardo Correia made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. SC Lameirao's Carlos Setúbal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Lameirao's Carlos Setúbal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save SC Lameirao from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Correia might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Setúbal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Correia ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricardo Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Setúbal having to interfere. Duarte Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Valente having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Gaspar Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Lameirao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Malhou the free kick. Francisco Valente came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by SC Lameirao's Gaspar Ramos. But to his dismay, Gaspar Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cristiano Cruz's late challenge caught a SC Lameirao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute Gaspar Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Setúbal came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Malhou's José Nunes. But to his dismay, José Nunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in SC Malhou's zone, Duarte Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Valente came out of the goal and Duarte Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Correia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SC Malhou's Ricardo Correia managed to work through SC Lameirao's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ricardo Correia dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. José Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Carlos Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Correia in the 63rd minute of play forced SC Lameirao's goalkeeper Carlos Setúbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte Marques struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Francisco Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Lameirao. Carlos Setúbal came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Malhou's Ricardo Correia. But to his dismay, Ricardo Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. SC Malhou's Francisco Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Ramos in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, Gaspar Ramos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Duarte Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Valente having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, SC Lameirao's Rafael Resende tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 92 played minutes SC Malhou got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Costa. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Malhou had won after a very even match.
