Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlos Esteves got the match started through his kick off. José Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Esteves in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, SC Lago's Gil Araújo got a free kick in the 7th minute. Lourenço Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Martins having to interfere. Joaquim Carvalho's late challenge caught a SC Ourenta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. Henrique Bessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Antunes having to interfere. When SC Ourenta's Lourenço Teixeira in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Lago's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19th minute, Delfim Neves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Ourenta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Delfim Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Martins. SC Lago's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delfim Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Ourenta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave SC Lago a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Inácio Soares, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Ourenta's José Antunes. 1-2. Hugo Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 40 minutes, Hugo Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lago and the SC Ourenta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Hugo Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delfim Neves scored 1-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Martins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half SC Ourenta were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lourenço Teixeira to make the kick off. Henrique Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Artur Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Antunes having to interfere. Lourenço Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Martins having to interfere. A collision led to SC Lago getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. José Henriques hit a great ball. Paulo Martins made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Delfim Neves sent off a good shot on target. Lourenço Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Paulo Martins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lourenço Teixeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Martins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lourenço Teixeira ran back to his position shaking his head. Artur Nogueira's late challenge caught a SC Ourenta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. SC Ourenta's Lourenço Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 played minutes SC Lago got a freekick which was hit by Artur Nogueira. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lourenço Teixeira in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Martins saved SC Lago from getting behind. Henrique Bessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. José Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Ourenta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Ourenta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
