Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Pracerias's João Viana started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 9 minutes, José Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Requeixo's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, Paulo Vaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Garcia having to interfere. Luís Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Gonçalves in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, SC Pracerias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Marques to maneuver through the defense. Duarte Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Garcia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duarte Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute, Rui Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliveira Barros hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Requeixo's zone, Paulo Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Martins came out of the goal and Paulo Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Paulo Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Pracerias's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Vaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Martins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39thth minute of the game Duarte Gonçalves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Pracerias's Luís Garcia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute, João Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duarte Gonçalves to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oliveira Barros during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
