The wind increased when Francisco Viegas made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Eduardo Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Catarino Ramos in the 79th minute really tested Vítor Paredes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Bruno Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Viegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. SC Manteigas's Vítor Paredes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save SC Manteigas from getting a goal against them. Joaquim Pedroso might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vítor Paredes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
