Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rodrigo Lopes got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Portuzelo's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Lopes came free, but Jacinto Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute of the match, Rodrigo Lopes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jacinto Nascimento saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Vaz in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Lisboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 11 played minutes Alvados FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Amaro. After having played for 13 minutes, Mariano Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portuzelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Assunção was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Faria got free with Jacinto Nascimento in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Raul Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portuzelo's Mariano Assunção got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jacinto Nascimento made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Alvados FC's Daniel Amaro got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 39 minutes of play, Portuzelo's Mariano Assunção made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Lisboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodrigo Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jacinto Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Alvados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Portuzelo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Assunção was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Gaspar Cruz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacinto Nascimento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Xavier Santarém scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Nascimento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandre Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jorge Gonçalves fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvados FC's protests and gave Jorge Gonçalves a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Alvados FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Gonçalves. 77 minutes into the match, Alvados FC's Alexandre Faria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacinto Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Alexandre Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Fernando Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvados FC's Rodrigo Lopes managed to work through Portuzelo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rodrigo Lopes dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After having played for 88 minutes, Afonso Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portuzelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raul Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Alvados FC's Oliveira Guarda seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Oliveira Guarda the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Alvados FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Oliveira Guarda had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Alvados FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Portuzelo:s goal. The goalkeeper, Carlos Lisboa, was totally fooled by Portuzelo's Henrique Marques, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 97th minute Mariano Assunção shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Lisboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Portuzelo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
