After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Sebastião Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Codes's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastião Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Matias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Andrade in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Vicente Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Bessa got free with Vítor Matias in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Andrade in the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes in the game, Paulo Andrade dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 34th minute, Gamosa FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hugo Bessa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to SC Codes getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alexandre Setúbal hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Paulo Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jorge Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the match, Gamosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Bessa came free, but Vítor Matias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Américo Castro came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Gamosa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Américo Castro couldn't finish the play. Américo Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
