Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rui Pinheiro started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Carlos Guarda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Antua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Girabolhos the free kick. Carlos Guarda kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Delfim Mendes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Antua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Girabolhos the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Guarda in the 13th minute of play forced Girabolhos's goalkeeper Afonso Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Fonseca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sérgio Leão. SC Antua's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Rafael Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, André Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 minutes of play SC Antua's Carlos Guarda was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 22nd match minute, SC Antua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Guarda to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Rafael Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Girabolhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sérgio Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Pinheiro in the 32nd minute of play. Luís Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Girabolhos getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Delfim Cunha hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Cruz during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Girabolhos defense, Luís Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afonso Henriques. The Girabolhos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afonso Henriques should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Pereira made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, SC Antua's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Pinheiro came free, but Sérgio Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 53 played minutes SC Antua got a freekick which was hit by Marco Pacheco. Rui Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Antua's Sérgio Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Pinheiro in the 58th minute of play. Girabolhos's Rafael Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rui Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sérgio Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Américo Moutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sérgio Leão acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fernando Nunes. André Fonseca hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Luís Pereira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Antua fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Luís Pereira scored 3-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonso Henriques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Luís Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Antua's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
