Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Carlos Pedroso started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Carlos Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gaifar getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alexandre Brás hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Basílio Leiria fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 22 played minutes Gaifar got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Brás. Gaifar's André Resende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Pedroso in the 29th minute of play. 0-1 became the score in the 32nd minute when Artur Gaspar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Candeiro's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Mendes came free, but Cristiano Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Gaspar in the 39th minute of play forced Candeiro's goalkeeper Cristiano Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Artur Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Tomás Mendes made the kick off in the second half. If Carlos Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Oliveira took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Resende. André Resende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Gaifar defense, Carlos Pedroso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Resende. The Gaifar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Resende should have stopped the shot. Artur Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Cristiano Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Mendes in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristiano Ferreira saved Candeiro from getting behind. After 72 minutes, Tomás Mendes made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Candeiro's Cristiano Ferreira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bento Fontes hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Artur Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Cristiano Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artur Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Tomás Mendes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Ferreira was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Candeiro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gaifar for a fine match.
