Rodrigo Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Guena's Carlos Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santana FC's Rodrigo Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Silva in the 17th minute of play. If Alexandre Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alexandre Rodrigues, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 24 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rodrigo Fernandes was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Alexandre Machado charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Machado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlos Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santana FC's Rodrigo Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Santana FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that David Gomes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Vieira was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Guena's Lucas Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Figueiredo in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Guena getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Delfim Pinheiro hit a great ball. David Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Carlos Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Fernandes having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Santana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Gomes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 62nd playminute. Lucas Vieira made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Gomes in the 66th minute. In the 75th minute, Eusébio Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, David Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Fernandes came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Guena's Carlos Silva. But to his dismay, Carlos Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lucas Vieira made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when David Gomes sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Carlos Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Fernandes was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Alexandre Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
