The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inácio Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Patroves's Inácio Santos got control of the ball when Albertino Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Neiral's zone, Eduardo Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Barros came out of the goal and Eduardo Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eduardo Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Inácio Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 57thth minute of the game Eusébio Moreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Patroves's Inácio Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patroves's Inácio Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Moreira in the 58th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Eusébio Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Neiral fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 85 minutes of play, Neiral's Eusébio Moreira made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inácio Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 88 played minutes Patroves got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Alves. Eusébio Moreira struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Inácio Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neiral. Inácio Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusébio Moreira went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Neiral were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Patroves for a fine match.
