Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Carvalho started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Aleixo in the 5th minute of play forced SC Arques's goalkeeper Pedro Gueifão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Júlio Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Gueifão didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Caldelas FC's Júlio Carneiro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Júlio Cardoso charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júlio Cardoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SC Arques booed when Caldelas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Pedro Gueifão made a huge save. With 31 minutes on the clock, Pedro Paredes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 31st minute, one of SC Arques:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Arques. Eduardo Fontes shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 37th minute of the match Inácio Ramos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Gueifão skillfully saved the ball. Joaquim Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Domingues in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Américo Aleixo made the kick off in the second half. Gonçalo Simões's late challenge caught a Caldelas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonçalo Simões helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Arques fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! SC Arques's Pedro Gueifão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Aleixo in the 61st minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Caldelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Caldelas FC's Américo Aleixo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, SC Arques's Gonçalo Simões tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Ricardo Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 77 minutes, Daniel Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Arques's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Américo Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caldelas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Américo Aleixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Gueifão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Arques's Afonso Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Caldelas FC booed when SC Arques was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Caldelas FC had won after a very even match.
