Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alexandre Almeida made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute, Jorge Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandre Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Armindo Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Assis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Afonso Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armindo Assis made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Jorge Sousa sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Fanhoes's zone, Jorge Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Assis came out of the goal and Jorge Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Hélder Coelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almoriz's Afonso Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Afonso Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armindo Assis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Almeida's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Almoriz's zone, Gil Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Marques came out of the goal and Gil Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gil Pinheiro to make the kick off. Armindo Assis came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Almoriz's Lúcio Luz. But to his dismay, Lúcio Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When Afonso Viegas fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fanhoes's protests and gave Afonso Viegas a yellow card for diving instead. Afonso Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Gil Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonso Marques was a little too slow when Gil Pinheiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 2-1. Afonso Viegas was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Afonso Viegas hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Almoriz's Jorge Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hélder Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
