Jorge Viegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Freitas in the 3rd minute of the match. Diamantino Freitas struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Jorge Viegas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Capinha. SC Capinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Silvarelhos the free kick. In the 24th minute, Amílcar Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Henriques in the 30th minute of play. Joel Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Faro having to interfere. Silvarelhos's Jorge Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Freitas in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Silvarelhos's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Freitas came free, but Jorge Viegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Silvarelhos's Jorge Esteves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Faro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diamantino Freitas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Viegas having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Joel Ribeiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delfim Henriques was the one to do the kick off. Joel Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 57 minutes, Delfim Henriques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silvarelhos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delfim Henriques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute Joel Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Faro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Silvarelhos's Jorge Viegas got control of the ball when Gaspar Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. Delfim Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Faro having to interfere. If Joel Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Almeida had several of the Silvarelhos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Jorge Viegas as he didn't even see the shot coming. David Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Gaspar Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. David Faro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
