Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abel Abreu took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Albertino Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pingarelhos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertino Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Viegas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Pingarelhos FC booed when Silvarelhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Henriques didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Diamantino Lima was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Pingarelhos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Silvarelhos:s goal. After a rather tough play, Silvarelhos's Jorge Esteves got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute Delfim Henriques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Viegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Silvarelhos defense, Cristóvão Abreu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Viegas. The Silvarelhos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Viegas should have stopped the shot. Jacinto Viegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Henriques, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Delfim Henriques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48thth minute of the game Delfim Henriques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pingarelhos FC's Jacinto Viegas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Delfim Henriques made the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Costa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacinto Viegas. Pingarelhos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pingarelhos FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Delfim Henriques 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Joel Ribeiro took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Viegas. Jacinto Viegas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Pingarelhos FC's Jacinto Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Henriques in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Silvarelhos booed when Pingarelhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Lisboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Viegas having to interfere. Delfim Henriques might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Viegas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delfim Henriques ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacinto Viegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Henriques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delfim Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Viegas having to interfere. If Cristóvão Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When João Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Pingarelhos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Cabral couldn't finish the play. The Silvarelhos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
