Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Duarte Pereira got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Caixeiros FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Henrique Veiga hit a great ball. Nuno Guarda's late challenge caught a Granjal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuno Guarda helped the player get up and apologised. Gaspar Matias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The Granjal fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Granjal's Duarte Pereira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duarte Pereira in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Matias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 minutes, Henrique Veiga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caixeiros FC and the Granjal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Henrique Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Caixeiros FC's Gaspar Matias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Pereira in the 24th minute of play. After 24 played minutes Caixeiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Guarda. Delfim Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 28 minutes, Lúcio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caixeiros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Lúcio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Duarte Pereira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Matias. Caixeiros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duarte Pereira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 37 played minutes Granjal got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Martins. After a defensive mix-up in Caixeiros FC's zone, Delfim Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Matias came out of the goal and Delfim Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duarte Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Matias having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Tomás Dias hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The supporters of Caixeiros FC booed when Granjal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th match minute, Caixeiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Duarte Pereira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gaspar Matias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delfim Veiga in the 66th minute. If Mariano Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Pereira struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Gaspar Matias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granjal. If Duarte Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mariano Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Gaspar Matias made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Delfim Veiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Matias was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. If Delfim Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Amorim struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jaime Martins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caixeiros FC. The Granjal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Granjal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
