Manuel Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Baptista in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Arrabal FC's goalkeeper Afonso Gaspar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Baptista in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Gaspar saved Arrabal FC from getting behind. Eusébio Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Álvaro Assis got free with Jorge Almeida in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reinaldos's Manuel Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armindo Moniz took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonso Gaspar. Afonso Gaspar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Afonso Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Baptista in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Baptista to make the kick off. With a little luck, Arrabal FC's Afonso Gaspar got control of the ball when Armindo Moniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afonso Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Arrabal FC's Carlos Neves got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 59 minutes Arrabal FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Viana who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Reinaldos's Carlos Viana to fire away a dangerous shot which Afonso Gaspar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 60th minute, Armindo Moniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arrabal FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Manuel Baptista scored to the left of an out of position Afonso Gaspar, making the score, 0-3. Armindo Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Jesus charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Jesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Arrabal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Jesus to maneuver through the defense. Armindo Moniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Reinaldos's Manuel Baptista in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arrabal FC's goalie prevented a goal. 91 minutes into the game, Manuel Baptista recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Afonso Gaspar. Manuel Baptista showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. When the final whistle sounded Reinaldos left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Arrabal FC.
