Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jorge Neves started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Carlos Pires kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. António Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Santarém having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, António Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atafona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but António Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Santarém breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viriato Santarém hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Nuno Santarém made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when António Teixeira sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Santarém in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, one of Atafona FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atafona FC. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Monfirre FC. Albertino Reis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jorge Pinheiro. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Monfirre FC's zone, António Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Santarém came out of the goal and António Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute Gabriel Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viriato Santarém spun around in front of the goal 33 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Atafona FC's goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, António Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atafona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but António Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, António Teixeira took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Nuno Santarém to make any attempt to save it. Alexandre Coelho hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jorge Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Santarém, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Armando Paredes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Pinheiro having to make a save. Gabriel Fontes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Jorge Pinheiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Monfirre FC booed when Atafona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, António Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atafona FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Teixeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Pinheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Fontes in the 66th minute. Gabriel Fontes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Jorge Pinheiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Pires during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Atafona FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Carlos Pires hit a great ball. In the 77th play minute Gabriel Fontes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jorge Pinheiro. 2-2. António Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viriato Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If António Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gabriel Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jorge Pinheiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
