Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Andrade started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Junca defense, Alexandre Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adolfo Matias. The Junca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adolfo Matias should have stopped the shot. Junca's Eduardo Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Mota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Assis's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 15thth minute of the game Jaime Assis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Troia FC's Fernando Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eduardo Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime Assis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes, João Santarém mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Junca and the Troia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Junca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Santarém to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Junca's zone, Alexandre Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Matias came out of the goal and Alexandre Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Viegas charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Viegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Junca booed when Troia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Viegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Dias was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 33 played minutes Junca got a freekick which was hit by João Santarém. Jorge Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Matias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Junca's Eduardo Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Alexandre Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Troia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Matias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Jaime Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fernando Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 61 minutes into the game, when Raul Aleixo put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Troia FC a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eusébio Oliveira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Junca's Adolfo Matias. 2-0. José Viegas hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Adolfo Matias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When Eduardo Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Junca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Baptista couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Matias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Andrade in the 85th minute of the match. Eduardo Baptista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Mota having to make a save. Eduardo Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lúcio Gaspar charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lúcio Gaspar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Junca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Troia FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Junca had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
