Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Junca's Jaime Assis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute of the match, Jaime Assis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Viriato Lopes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 9 played minutes Junca got a freekick which was hit by Mário Andrade. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Santarém during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Junca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Santarém to maneuver through the defense. Junca's Eduardo Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Eduardo Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Junca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Baptista couldn't finish the play. Jaime Assis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sandro Dias's late challenge caught a SC Irivo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Dias helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Sandro Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor Nascimento was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Junca's João Santarém got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Adolfo Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cândido Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Junca's Lúcio Gaspar got a free kick in the 34th minute. If Cândido Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Santarém was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Eusébio Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Irivo's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusébio Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Matias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cândido Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cândido Cabral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cândido Cabral struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Adolfo Matias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Irivo. In the 66th minute, Jaime Assis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, SC Irivo's Vítor Nascimento broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusébio Gonçalves got free with Adolfo Matias in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Eusébio Gonçalves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Matias was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 80 played minutes Cândido Cabral rounded Junca's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Jaime Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Viriato Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cândido Cabral struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Adolfo Matias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Irivo. After 97 minutes, Tiago Faria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Irivo and the Junca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 97 played minutes SC Irivo got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Faria. SC Irivo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
