In the last second Rafael Morais throw himself and got hold of the ball when Afonso Figueiredo in the 36thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After having played for 37 minutes, Adolfo Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvaredos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Armando Brito succeeded in the game's 45th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Giraldos's zone, Afonso Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Morais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusébio Gueifão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Armando Brito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusébio Gueifão having to make a save. Alvaredos's Afonso Figueiredo has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 73rd minute.
