After having played for 7 minutes, Américo Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Camachos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Ferreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, SC Alportel's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Delgado came free, but Miguel Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes, Mariano Vaz made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Camachos's Hélder Correia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nuno Delgado hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Miguel Brás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Delgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Américo Ferreira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Miguel Brás skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Miguel Brás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Delgado in the 28th minute of play. Nuno Delgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Miguel Brás made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Amaral during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hugo Amaral hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Mariano Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Brás made an important save on a dangerous shot by Américo Ferreira in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the match, SC Alportel's Mariano Vaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hélder Correia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nuno Delgado to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguel Pacheco hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When Artur Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Camachos's protests and gave Artur Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. 63 minutes into the game, Américo Ferreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Miguel Brás was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 66 played minutes Camachos got a freekick which was hit by Artur Antunes. In the 70th minute, Nuno Delgado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Américo Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Brás having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Alportel's Mariano Vaz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hélder Correia. That made the score 1-3 after 74 minutes of play. Hélder Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Vaz in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Camachos's Américo Ferreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Brás narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Nuno Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Brás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Camachos's Delfim Gaspar to fire away a dangerous shot which Miguel Brás despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Camachos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Alportel's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Alportel.
